Andrea J. Lentz of Litchfield, PA died, after a 17 year battle with metastatic cancer, on Tuesday, September 6th in hospice care at the Robert Packer Hospital.
She graduated in 1980 from Bloomfield College, Summa Cum Laude, with degrees in English Literature and Graphic Design.
Prior to her retirement, she greatly enjoyed working at the Epiphany School in Sayre, both with the children, volunteers, teachers, and staff. Although once an avid quilter, her latest passion was knitting. She also enjoyed “Words With Friends” on-line, as well as winning at Scrabble with friends at home. She was a faithful member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Athens, PA.
She is survived by Benjamin, her husband of over 49 years; her beloved son, Theo of Williamsport, PA; her mother, Wilma Ciaburri of Wanaque, NJ; her brother and spouse, Thomas & Debbie Ciaburri of Wanaque, NJ; her sister and spouse, Michele & Tom Hughes of Hewitt, NJ; and nephews and many grand-nephews and grand-nieces; also Hoover & Gandalf, her cats.
A Memorial Service is planned for the Church of the Redeemer, Sayre at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Donations may be made in her memory to Trinity Church, Church of the Redeemer (Sayre, PA) or a charity of your choice. Please, no flowers.
