Barbara Marie (Strope) Dalton

Barbara M. Dalton,93, of Waverly, NY, passed away on Saturday July 22, 2023 at Elderwood of Wavely.

Barbara was born in Sayre to her parents Helen Kelly Strope and Charles Strope on February 12, 1930.

She married her husband Robert Dalton on December 20, 2008  at the town  of Barton Justice of the Peace office with Jack Ellis officiating.

Barbara worked at several places throughout her life including Remington Rand, Thatcher Glass, and Walmart, as a greeter/security person ,which she  retired from in 2014 .

She is survived by her children: Connie (John) Bradley of Sayre, Gary (Gloria) Reeves of Waverly, Bonnie (Elwin) Monahan of Monroeton, and Keith (Vicky) Reeves of Montana

Also her grandchildren: Krista Bradley, Lucinda Cole, Travis (Michaelia) Reeves, Erin Monahan, Jesse Monahan, Zachariah Reeves, Jedidiah Reeves, Chrissa Lockner, and Vincent Lockner.

Also many great grandchildren,nieces,nephews, cousins and great great grandchildren.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Robert Dalton, her daughter Jolene Lockner, her two sisters Virginia Warner and Shirley McGee, and her three brothers Robert, Donald, And Chuck Strope.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life on August 3, 2023 at the Elizabeth Square Apartments, 430 Fulton St., Waverly, NY, at 1PM.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Barbara's name to Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY

Burial will be in Lockwood Cemetery, Lockwood, NY.
