Beatrice V. (Schreck) Lawler

Beatrice V. Schreck Lawler, 94, of Waverly, NY passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, on Friday, February 8, 2019.  

     She was predeceased by her parents, William and Minnie Schreck; brothers, Charles, William, Harry and Paul Schreck;  sisters, Ruth Mekeel, Ethel Rogers and Theresa Kosobuski.

     Beatrice is survived by her Daughter, Patricia (Jim) Sindoni of Waverly; grandchildren, Brian (Diane) Sindoni, Lori Vascoe and Suzanne (Pat) Fernan and great-grandchildren, Jared Vascoe, Delaney Vascoe and Courtney Fernan.

     Beatrice worked many years as the manager of Triangle Shoe Store in Waverly, then later as a loan officer at Northern Central Bank in Athens, PA where she retired in 1987.  She was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church.  Beatrice enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with friends and family.

     A memorial service will be held at the Waverly United Methodist Church at 11:00 on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.  A luncheon will follow immediately after the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepard Rd, Waverly, NY 14892.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Thomas Cremation and Funeral Service,1297 Elmira St., Sayre, Pa.
