Connie Rose (Gurnsey) Rusin

Connie Rose (Gurnsey) Rusin, 82, of Ulster, PA, passed away May 10, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital following a brief illness.  Connie was born on March 9, 1943, in Elmira, NY and is the daughter of the late George Gurnsey and Anna (Mahosky) Verdolini, of Gillett, PA. 

Connie enjoyed watching "her soaps," canning, shopping, spending time with family, and wintering in Florida with her husband of 34 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, George L. Gurnsey, and her sister-in-law, Sharon Gurnsey. 

Connie is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Rusin, a son, Scott (Jacqueline) Wich, a daughter, Elaine (Phillip) Collum, and two stepdaughters, Susan Rusin and Laura (Greg) Gray. Connie shared a special relationship with her granddaughter, Jenna Rose Rosbach, and had two other grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and a great grandson.  Connie is also survived by a sister, Dorothy (Wayne) Biby, several nieces & nephews, and special friends. 

At Connie's request, there will be no services. 

The family is being assisted by Thomas Cremation and Funeral, 1297 Elmira Street, Sayre, PA. 

Memorial donations may be made in Connie's name to Bradford County Humane Society, US-220, Ulster, PA 18850.
