George (Bernie) L. Malone

George, (Bernie) L. Malone, 87 years old, of Pembleton Place, Waverly NY passed away on August 30, 2023 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA following a brief illness. George was born at home in Waverly, NY to parents, the late George and Eleanor Malone.

George attended Waverly high School and was employed by the Owego Foundry for 20 yrs. And worked on refurbishing subway cars in Elmira, NY.

George is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hill of Wavery, NY, sons Dennis of Athens, PA, David (Karen) of Waverly, NY, daughters, Kathy Ellis (Bob) of Ulster, PA and Mary Malone of Florida step-son George Hill Watkins Glen, NY, brother, John Malone of Waverly, NY, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

George is predeceased by his mother, father, and sister, Annamae Malone Bennett, daughter-in-law’s, Corrine and Lenna Malone, and step-son James Hill all of whom will welcome him from above.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
