Joan Marie (Page) Markle

Joan Marie Markle passed away peacefully at the Athens Health and Rehabilition Center in Athens, Pa. on October 30, 2024.Joan was born on August 6th, 1950, to John and Jane Page of Sayre, Pa. Joan graduated from Athens High School and went on to marry the love of her life Arthur Markle Jr. on August 9th, 1969. They had three children, son Arthur III, daughter Michele, and son Trever. She had five grandchildren: Brooke, Courtnee, Conner, Christa, and Maddie. She also had four great grandchildren: Aspen,Isley, Colt, And Jared who meant everything to her and always put a smile on her face.

Joan loved to travel and go camping, especially to Lancaster, Pa., She was a member of Gold Wing Motorcycle Riders Chapter R, where she could be found riding behind Arther on many trips, usually ending in a trip to an ice cream shop

Joan was predeceased by her parents, her brother Jim and her sister Judy.

At her request, there will be no public services
