The Valley didn't know one without the other, Marilee Quinlan went to heaven to join her beloved husband Andy on Sunday August 31, 2025. Born Marilee Elizabeth Lynch on July 2, 1936 in Spring Lake, PA she was the daughter of Cyril and Ruby (Jennings) Lynch. The family moved to Sayre in 1942, and she attended Epiphany School for eight years and graduated from Sayre High in 1954. She went on to graduate from the Del Kader School of Cosmetology in 1958 and was an active cosmetologist in PA and NY for 20 years. Marilee married the notorious Andrew Quinlan in 1965. Together they were the proud owners of the Quinlan Park Pub/softball complex and Quinlan Tree Service.
Marilee wore many hats over the years, she was the District #2 New York State amateur softball commissioner for 17 years, a New York State women’s minority contractor in the management of Quinlan Tree Service and an active member of the Epiphany Church where she participated in the Altar and Rosary Society, church choir and luncheon committee. Marilee was predeceased by her parents, Cyril and Ruby (Jennings) Lynch, sister Ruth Ann Park and brother-in-law Harry Park, sister Ronnie Moulthrop, brother Richard Lynch and sister-in-law Sarah, brother Tom Lynch and sister-in-law Norma, brother-in-law Jerome Lynch, infant twin brothers Peter and Paul, and nephew Jeff Lynch.
