Mary Claire (Schram) Fiorello

Mary Claire (Schram) Fiorello, 88, passed away on July 22, 2024 at Sayre Health Care Center.

Mary Claire was born in Sayre on September 11, 1935, the daughter of Fred and Mary Laux Schram. She was a graduate of Sayre High School with the class of 1953.  She held several office jobs in the past at the Epiphany School and J.W. Bishop Fuel Company and later in life traveled as an escort car driver.  Among other things she loved animals, gardening, ceramics, quilting and researching family genealogy.  

After suffering a stroke in March, 2022, she relocated from Lock Haven, PA to the Sayre Healthcare Center.  Surviving are her son, Ron from Billings, Montana, several nephews and nieces including Linda McGinnis and Beth McKinery of Sayre, and cousin Debra Luchaco of Sayre.  She was predeceased by her son, Larry in 2016, siblings Sally Berrettini, Phyllis Boyle, Joyce Morgal, Genevieve Baxter, Paula Altiere,Peter and Robert Schram.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 16, 2024 at the Church of the Epiphany in Sayre, Pa. at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, Pa. 

Those wishing to remember Mary through a charitable donation are asked to consider the activities fund at Sayre Health Care Center or Stray Haven in Waverly, New York.
