Meghan C. Jarvis

   Meghan Jarvis, 31, of Waverly, passed away Sunday, surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of Glenn and Lisa Jarvis of Sayre. Meghan was a graduate of the Sayre High School Class of 2011. She earned an Associate’s degree from Lackawanna College in 2016 and Bachelor of Science degree from Mansfield University in December, 2017. She was a server at The Grille in Sayre.

     A devoted mother, Meghan’s joy in life was her four year old son, Izaak. As a young girl, Meghan loved swinging and jumping on the trampoline with her headset playing her favorite songs. So she and Izaak enjoyed all the area playgrounds and waterparks. Meghan loved her three cats and music, and she often dressed Izaak in tee shirts from her favorite artist or band such as Stevie Nicks, Pink Floyd, or Tom Petty.

     One favorite fall highlight was planning the theme and coordinating costumes for Halloween, Meghan’s favorite holiday. Meghan was quiet, but she truly enjoyed shopping with her Mom, traveling, going out with friends, and hanging out with her friends and all their little ones.

     Meghan is survived by her son Izaak, parents Glenn and Lisa, sister Heather from Redondo Beach, California, brothers Glenn (Becky) and Andrew (Megan) from Sayre, and Ryan from Denver, Colorado, nieces McKenna, Ava, Reina, and Rylee, nephews Jeffrey and Onny , grandmother Roselyn Jarvis, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and boyfriend, Bradley Cole. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph and Mary Burkhart, grandfather, Harold Jarvis, aunt Karen Burkhart, and uncle Gary Jarvis.

     Visitation will be held at the Epiphany Catholic Church Hall between 9:00-10:45 am on Thursday, September 19th.   A memorial mass will follow at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Izaak Cole Trust Fund % Thomas Hendershot at PS Bank, 205 West Lockhart Street, Sayre, Pa 18840.
