Richard D. Benjamin, Sr.,83, passed away on Saturday November 2, 2024 at Mercy House in Endicott, NY. He was born to his parents Layton and Elizabeth Eldred Benjamin on December 18, 1940 in Towanda. He was one of sixteen children.
Dick graduated from Sayre High School and worked at The Ingersoll -Rand Co. in Athens, Pa. where he retired from.
Richard was a frequent bowler at Waverly Lanes and enjoyed golfing and going to the casinos. He was a great softball/baseball player and went to the Little League World's Series in Williamsport, Pa. when he was in grade school.
He is survived by his son Todd (Theresa) Benjamin, his son Richard (Kristy) Benjamin Jr and a sister Anne from Towanda, PA along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Victoria and Kira for taking care of him through his illness along with his good friend Steve who visited frequently.
He was on Lourdes hospice care and in Mercy House his last few days where he was very well cared for.
