Robert R. Miller

Robert R. Miller, 91, of Owego NY passed away peacefully surrounded by his family November 12, 2022. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 31 years Joyce Miller, his parents Elizabeth File (Foster) and Earl Miller, and brother and sister-in-law Howard and Lee Miller. Robert is survived by his children; Laurie Miller of Endicott, Timothy Miller (Ruth) of Horseheads, Kevin Miller (Teri) of Owego; his grandchildren Katherine Miller, Jocelyn Ostrander (Logan), Alyssa Miller, Victoria Miller, Benjamin Miller, Matthew Miller; and great-grandsons Talon Miller and Saban Bahantka.

Robert was born April 18, 1931, in Endicott, NY. He attended school at Union Endicott Schools then enlisted in the Army Reserves. He is a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was proud to have served his country. He later worked at General Electric in Johnson City where he met the love of his life and later married her. They settled in Endicott and raised their family. He retired from GE and spent time doing what he loved. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards with friends, and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved having coffee with friends and hanging with his cat.

The family would like to thank the staff of Elderwood at Waverly for the care and respect they showed in his last weeks.
