Ronald Rogers

Ronald "Ron" Rogers, 70, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026. Born on February 14, 1956, Ron lived a life marked by dedication to his work, love for his family, and kindness to those around him.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jean Rogers; his stepmother, Kay Rogers; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his loving sister, Debra (Greg) Mitchell; his nephew, Jonathan (Amanda) Mitchell; his niece, Jessica (Brandon) Meyers; and his cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlie, Livvy, Wyatt, Liam, and Camden. He is also survived by his aunts, Virginia Rogers and Geraldine Young, along with many special cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

For 38 years, Ron worked as a custodian in the Dental Department at Guthrie Clinic. He took great pride in his work and was deeply appreciated by his coworkers, who came to love and respect him throughout the years.

Ron found joy in life's simple pleasures. He adored his beloved cat, Salem, who was a constant companion. He especially treasured spending time with family, particularly gathering at his niece's home for birthdays, holidays, and celebrations with the children he loved so much. Those moments brought him great happiness and created memories that his family will cherish forever.

His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A burial will be held at a later date for family.
