Sharon Ann Peer, 78, of Waverly, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday April 8, 2026.
Sharon was born in Sayre, PA on September 21st, 1947. She was predeceased by her loving husband Dave Peer, her parents, Pearl Vanderpool (Vincent) and Edwin and Yvonne Vanderpool, her sister Donna Robinson and grandson Kenny Soper
Sharon was survived by her loving children, Kenneth Soper, Jr. (Lori), Deanna Soper-Mincer (Ted), Edwin “Buddy” Soper (Beth), Cathy Soper-Corneby.
Her grandchildren, Devin (Stefanie), Kaylin (JP), Marissa (Brandon), Cassie (David), Faith, Scott, Sierra, Edwin, Jessica (Mike).
One of Sharon’s greatest blessings was being Gigi to her great grandchildren, Isaac, Hudson, Leo, Dallas, Jensyn, Leighton, Tarek, Liam, Marley, Braya, Nevaeh, Carson, Elliana, Dominic, Lexus, and Harper.
She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Gallagher and last but not least her four-legged companion Cooper.
Sharon spent many years waitressing at the Tomahawk. Sharon will be missed by her Bingo friends at the Milltown Firehall. She enjoyed singing, music and most of all spending time with her family.
Always the life of the party, the first to arrive and the first to sneak out. The lights have dimmed, the curtain has closed, take your final bow Gigi. We love you, we miss you, we’ll be seeing you.
At Sharon’s request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
